May 20, 2014

Attended by: Kirnn, Sharon, René (notes)

Maurizio was not able to join and informed beforehand that the venue in Florence is available in September. @ Maurizio: can you give the name and address of the venue and fill this in on the page: Please also provide suggestions for accommodation on the page.

It is confirmed that the training will be in Florence on Sept. 17 - 18 2014.

Kirnn provided a list of modules "which will be provided by the VCoE. Ideally the courses presented at the training event in Florence should ‘fit’ as best they can within the listing, or should come from those courses/modules already listed. Where additional courses/modules are provided these will be added to the listing. I think we need to align the preparation of course content for this event with the future needs of the VCoE (i.e. to the listing attached). I have already spoken with Sabine and she is happy to align the material prepared for this course with the needs of future training material. I am due to have a separate meeting with Sabine about his. Of course, we would need to do the same for other partners contributing to this training event." (cited from email by Kirnn). The list is attached to this page.

Kirnn also suggested to take notice of the brochure on Access and Usability that is under construction, see:

Another relevant source of context information is an overview of deliverables, see:

WP leaders (WP22, WP25, WP31, WP35) are asked to prepare the content of the training. Ideally they will also lead the training. if not they should help to find alternatives. This is done by Rene by email.

The content for the four training blocks have to be prepared.

We start with advocating the event and giving people possibility to register in a couple of weeks. This is under the responsibility of Sharon.

Next megameeting: Tuesday June 3, 2014, 15:30 CET.

Yannis comments sent by email: Will any important event take place in Florence that period? Otherwise it will be hard to find any person to attend it. Such events are usually colocated with other relevant and popular events to which a lot of persons go.
