Follow-up from previous meeting, review of actions and master schedule

As discussed in the last two meetings, there is to be an APARSEN panel at the iPRES conference. An important part of the panel is the presentation of four example services. Suggestions for thee are still welcome, but the list at the moment is:

  • audit/certification (to be presented by David, Simon or Barbara Sierman)
  • training courses (to be presented by Sharon)
  • authenticity management (to be presented by Silvio Salza?)
  • PID resolver (to be preented by Maurizio or one of his colleagues?)

There is a dedicated wiki page at IPRES2103Panel, which includes timings so that the speakers can prepare their talks accordingly.

Management update

EC's queries on Form Cs

The EC sent a set of queries on the Form Cs submitted for the second year, and Simon has passed them on to the concerned partners and is assembling the responses into a consolidated document.

Date of next All Hands Meeting/General Assembly

A definite decision on which days the APARSEN AHM/GA will be (within the week 2-6 December) will be taken this week.

Report on activities within streams, any issues arising

Stream 1 Integration

David reported that he will meet Matthias Hemmje next week to work on the next set of documents for the common vision and VCoE. They have been exchanging ideas and drafting something to bring things together and to respond to the actions from the last VCoE workshop such as adding a PEST analysis. Ruben has provided some additional material for the business plan. David hopes that by the end of next week he will have something to circulate.

Any other issues

Simon will be contacting the concerned partners about leading special topics for some of the weekly MegaMeetings. In particular it would be good to hear about the recent deliverables D27.1 and D36.2, and about integration and common vision.

Eefke raised the subject of the next set of webinars. We are aiming for one in September and one in November. The first of these could be on interoperability (Yannis) and the second on audit/certification. The latter could have three presentations, on DSA (René or colleagues), DIN (Sabine) and ISO David/Simon/Barbara). Scalability could be a topic for a webinar next year.
