Management update

The Year 3 cost claims are with the EC, and we are awaiting any queries on them.

Simon has received an email from the EC about simplification of reporting direct (non-staff) in future claims; he will forward it to the list.

Any issues concerning Streams

Stream 1 Integration (WP11, WP13, WP16)

David has uploaded to the wiki a plan for Year 4 activities, with a page for comments. Because of the importance of this in setting up the VCoE, everyone should read the document and be prepared to discuss it at next week's meeting (24 April).

The document brings together previous work on the business plan and looks at each area, laying out honestly what we have and what we need, and then how to fill the gaps. It also deals with the resources needed, and examines the budget status and person-months at the end of Year 3. This shows that there probably will be an underspend, but there will still be effort available to all partners to complete the work.

Stream 2 Technical research (WP22)

Simon and Diana reported that revision of their deliverables D21.1 and D23.2 is in progress.

(Stream 3 Non-technical research - no active WPs)

No report

Stream 4 Spreading excellence (WP4n)

Regarding the resubmission of D43.2 by 1 June, Sharon will set things moving as soon as possible. David reminded of the need to cross-check with other activities including the Year 4 plan.

Sharon reported that there will be an APARSEN training course on 16-17 June in Florence. She, Maurizio and René are organising it. It will focus on usability and access WPs.

The summer school will take place in Vienna on 7-11 July.

Manuela is still collecting summaries of deliverables for the public website.

Any other issues
