Progress of Tiger Teams for Year 4 activities (see APANTigerTeams)

Training events and training material

It is understood that Sharon has collected the feedback forms from the summer school in Vienna and will be making them available.

Gerald reported that the recorded material we have so far can be imported into the online training portal, though the process takes some time. David said he will need to re-record a couple of his presentations. Kirnn is planning for additional presentations, so we hope for a good selection by mid-September on the online portal. David is also obtaining some training material from SCIDIP about how to use particular applications.

Market research

David reported that Ruben and his team have been collecting information, but they also intend to interview some people and this has taken longer than expected to arrange. It will be important to see the results of the market research exercise in time for the launch event.

Website and other communication/promotion activities

The Tiger Team for this activity is active and meetings are being organised by Manuela Holzmayer. Updates to the website are in progress and Manuela has asked everyone for additions/updates (email 12 August).

VCoE offerings: services, tools, consultancy

Krystina asked for an update of the intended offerings for the Centre of Excellence from all partners. This is important to establish the Centre of Excellence, as well as enabling partners to promote their services/products/expertise.

Preparation for VCoE launch

The hard launch event will take place as part of the APA conference on 22-23 October in Brussels. Krystina asked for volunteers to showcase their results and a few replies have been received. The overall agenda is still fluid but will focus on the common vision. It will be necessary to specify the agenda in more detail around the beginning of September. David will propose people to present particular topics, if necessary.
