Management update

Final reporting

Many partners have now sent the requested figures for effort and costs for the fourth year to Simon, though some are still awaited. Simon will send a reminder.

Very few WP reports have been received, however. There is a wiki page at ApanFourthYearReporting that explains what is needed, and is where reports can be uploaded. Essentially WPs active in Year 4 must provide a report on progress in that year, using the Word template, and all WPs must provide short highlights over the whole lifetime of the project, to go into the final report.

Remaining deliverables

Ideally deliverables should be ready for internal review by 1st December, though in some cases this might not be possible. There is still a need for volunteers to be internal reviewers, who should sign up on the deliverables page on the wiki.

D11.5 Report on a common vision of digital preservation
D11.6 Virtual Centre of Excellence development

Options for the CoE were discussed last week and will be presented in the deliverable.

D13.3 Report about standardisation activities

Holger reported that the deliverable is focussing on industrial design and engineering, plus standards and the project register which is already online. David will send a contribution on plans for future standards in the repository audit/certification area.

D16.2 Software repository: final

David is asking for updates and additions, particularly evidence of effectiveness of tools. He will add information on the SCIDIP software, and will also point to SourceForge.

D22.4 The interoperability framework implementation with added value services

Maurizio reported that the work being finalised with a questionnaire to test user satisfaction with the developed approach. They are conducting interviews and will then finalize the deliverable. The demonstrator is being enriched.

DNB has archived APARSEN deliverables on their trusted repository, and the same will be done at the Italian legal deposit archive.

D41.3 Event planning and summary report

Daria is awaiting a summary of the RDA workshop from Simon or David.

D42.2 Report on definition and course contents ... (due M46)

With Simon for internal review.

D44.5 Annual report on communication activities

With Ruben for completion - need to check state.

D45.2 Mapping defragmentation opportunities ... (revised version)

Eefke will complete the deliverable after the final webinar on 28th November. However the draft deliverable is able to be internally reviewed now.

Any other remaining activities of Tiger Teams

Kirnn reported that the training group met earlier this week to finalise the training modules. These are being imported into the Online Training Portal, which will be completed in the next four weeks. The work is reported in D42.2.

Any other issues

Simon suggested that next week's meeting should focus on progress and timetables for completion of the deliverables.
