Upcoming deliverables

Simon noted that there are also two external deliverables due at Month 12: from WP22 (PI system framework) and from WP44 (Social media facilities plan).

Work Packages

WP11 - Common vision

There is still time to enter each organisation's research plans in digital preservation on the wiki for incorporation into the internal deliverable - but the opportunity will not be available for ever!

WP13 Coordination of common standards

A Doodle poll has been opened for a conference call on this WP, and a proposed agenda was circulated. Hans-Ulrich Heidbrink explained the approach to be taken.

WP14 - Common testing environments

Ash Hunter reported that some useful feedback has been received from DNB on scenarios, but he would still like more. Either send him by email or put directly on the wiki.

WP15 - Internal workshops, symposia and events

WP16 - Common tools, software repository and marketplace

WP22 - Identifiers and citability

WP24 - Authenticity and Provenance

WP26 Annotation, reputation and data quality

Angela Schaefer reported that the survey will remain open for one more week (until 16 Sept) to allow further responses from content holders. Ten resposes have been received so far.

WP33 - Peer review and 3rd party certification of repositories

Angela said there was nothing new to report.

WP41 - External workshops symposia and events

John Lindstrom reported that task 4150 (Engagement of external actors 1: Research) will hold a meeting next week to structure the approach. Task 4160 (Engagement of external actors 2: Industry and Engineering communities) already started with activity by Airbus and InConTec. John noted that a lot is going on in the LOTAR consortium.

WP43 - Training courses

Sharon McMeekin said that the kick-off meeting will take place on Friday 9 September.

WP44 - External communications and awareness raising

Veronika Praendl-Zika reported by email that she is currently updating the work plan for WP44 with all the inputs from the task leaders and will circulate it tomorrow for approval.
