Review of notes from previous meeting

Since the All Hands Meeting took place in London the week before, this was the focus of discussion.

Review of actions

Most actions were covered during subsequent discussions, apart from some specific actions on David Giaretta which were deferred to the next meeting.

Administrative matters

Simon thanked those partners who have signed the Consortium Agreement and sent him the signed page. He urged all others to do so as soon as possible. All that is needed is the one page for the organisation's signature (section 12). The CA is on the wiki at http://aparsen.digitalpreservation.eu/bin/view/Main/APANConsortiumAgreement. When all signatures are received, Simon will scan them and make the final document available on the wiki.

Simon explained that the procedure for giving access to the EC's online system (NEF) for cost reporting has changed - the responsibility for adding new people now lies with the individual partners, not the coordinator. This may be required so as to allow financial/administrative staff to enter data.

Upcoming deliverables

The status of the Month 12 deliverables was summarised in the plans made during the meeting in London and captured by Simon in his PowerPoint file. Sharon McMeekin pointed out that the title of D44.1 has changed - it is now "Communications plan".

Work Packages

WP13 – Coordination of common standards

Holger Brocks rerported that a break-out session took place in London and the notes will be put on the wiki, specifying what input is required from partners.

WP14 - Common testing environments

Ash Hunter will turn his attention back to this WP next week.

WP15 - Internal workshops, symposia and events

René suggested (as was raised in London) that more face-to-face meetings would be beneficial, and Salvatore and others supported this. Salvatore suggested meetings at airports to cut the need of overnight stays, and to focus concretely on deliverables being finished.

WP26 – Annotation, reputation and data quality

Heinz Pampel reported that they are analysing the results of survey. SBA will contribute to the first chapter of the report.

WP33 - Peer review and 3rd party certification of repositories

Heinz Pampel said that a small survey is being conducted on publishers' perspectives with help from Eefke Smit.
