Minutes of Project Management Board meeting, 18th April 2013

Present: Simon Lambert, Sabine Schrimpf, Veronika Praendl-Zika, Maurizio Lunghi.

Follow-up from last week's meeting

The proposal for APARSEN roadshows was introduced at last week's meetings - waiting to hear from Kirnn Kaur about the possibility of holding the first at the BL premises rather than in Greenwich with the AHM.

Review of Master Schedule

As mentioned at this morning's meeting the master schedule must be kept up to date.

Methodology for common vision

The methodology for the common vision needs to be completed for submission to the PO by the end of April. Simon circulated a draft and several people made comments/suggestions.

ACTION: Simon to revise common vision methodology before next Thursday, for final discussions at the meetings that day.

Following up VCoE and common vision

There is a lot of activity now on the common vision and VCoE. David is polling for a meeting on the common vision, aiming to have a set of partners representing the different types of organisation in APARSEN.

There is a question of how to follow up the VCoE workshop held on Monday in Amsterdam. There are some specific actions in the notes of the meeting written by Veronika, but some actions lack named reponsible partners, and there is also a need to understand the next steps in general. In particular the methodology expects work to be done between meetings.

The next workshop could take place as a parallel session at the AHM in May.

ACTION: David/Simon to propose programme for AHM and agenda for GA meeting.

ACTION: David/Simon (as WP/task leaders) to assign responsibility for actions arising from workshop (such as "Map the output of today's workshop against the APARSEN deliverables").

ACTION: All to read and react to notes of workshop, particularly regarding further activities needed.

Plans for rejected deliverables (D14.1, D21.1, D42.1)

Discussed at this morning's general meeting.

René now has this in hand.

APARSEN presence at ICT 2013 event

David and Ruben have produced a "battleplan" at ApanIct2013. The submission date is 26th April so very close.

ACTION: Simon to organise a telephone call/MegaMeeting on Monday to progress ICT 2013 submission.

ACTION: Simon to contact Juan about RDA/EUDAT involvement.
