DAY 1 - Monday, 7th July

9.30-10.00 Meet and greet – a chance for attendees to meet with each other as well as the presenters (may not be needed but added here for those travelling in on the first day)

Introduction to digital preservation (with the Common Vision as the USP)

10.00-10.30 Presentation on Integrated View of Digital Preservation (DG)

10.30-11.00 Q&A discussion session

11.30-12.00 Presentation on Types of Digital Objects (DG)

12.00-12.30 Exercise (DG) – use of tool to look into the content within files (e.g. ZIP file containers). DG to provide content to be reviewed with a list of questions of what to look for. Tool to be provided.

13.30-14.00 Presentation on Outline of OAIS Concepts (based on the information model and less on the functional model) (DG)
