Same with Home>Training

Logging in does not get one to the WordPress admin page - previously there should have been a "Manage Page" button. However this is good since there is a menu bar across the top which lets ne get directly to the Dashboard

Is scrolling header supposed to change automatically? Doesn’t seem to?

Search facility brings up a number of options – however, when selecting further information under ‘read more’ – no information is available

Save the date both take you to the old website – is this because not all content has been transferred to the new site?

Documents and downloads page – a rather odd listing although popular downloads shown first which is good but perhaps these could go along the RHS of screen. Listing of all other downloads under various headings (can this be reviewed later)?

Documents and downloads page – search box and ‘go’ button not aligned properly, bottom of page – to move to next page – not clear as overwritten with dots

Documents and downloads page – icon against download is too big – some just a blank arrow

Documents and downloads page – some downloads duplicated under a couple of headings e.g. APARSEN and Training materials, others not checked GJ: Seems to be alright, as system allows for multiple categorization and categorization is optional overall.

FRONT PAGE Community, training, knowledge base, consultancy icons – keep same order at top of page too which currently shows – Community, training, consultancy and services, knowledge base

Newsletters – not shown properly on page – removing RHS section of screen with links to newsletter may provide a better view

Training materials all have tab of APARSEN at bottom of screen. The tab should only relate to APAREN training material – remove from others e.g. CASPAR, PLANETS link, additional videos, DPE

Knowledge base and sub-pages - page layout odd as nothing on main screen, all headers along RHS – in these instances remover RHS and add headings to main section of page

Knowledge base – add link back to downloads where deliverables produced

APARSEN tab at bottom of page to be reviewed for all pages as not all correctly allocated e.g. downloads, OAIS

Knowledge base – FAQ – duplication in sustainability type

Trust, sustainability, accessibility and usability – icons don’t have any links, could add content and links here – otherwise not needed just presents content in a different way. Better to move to APARSEN research page which shows the topics and the WP links

Community - events calendar not populated. Events as a list gives odd listing as if event over more than one day whole event entry is duplicated

Events listing – order not right should have events as a list as first entry

Forthcoming event listing on front page – needs to be reviewed – not clearly shown

Front website page news/update section at bottom of screen (looks like DG twitter feed)- not needed as assume APA/APARSEN daily would show these feeds

RR: I see no reference to APARSEN as a NoE European project. Mandatory FP7 logo and EU flag missing GJ: Indeed, I think reference to (partial) co-funding by EU is obligatory. Currently it is on the "About APARSEN" page (, maybe it needs to be placed more prominently?

GJ: Start page: I expect that each highlight has its own graphic, not always the same dotted globe. "View full list of downloads here" Should be "Browse full list of downloads".

Without any further information, the four main area icons Community, Training, Knowledge Base and Consultancy are of no use and could be deleted.

The four main topics Trust, Sustainability, Accessibility and Usability are altogether one grpahics. I doubt this technical implementation. The single image graphics need to be available as single images for further reuse. The four blocks need to link to detail pages.

Sections "APA/APARSEN Daily", "Forthcoming Events" and "APA Members" have a closing icon "X" which does not work.

Various pages: Currently, download opportunities all over the place display the document front page thumbnail/ document icon and a text "Download: " plus title. I think it should also display the publishing date (is that available?) and maybe the file size and file format, e.g. PDF. The title should be displayed independent of the download link function "Download", compare "Downloads" listing on start page right column.

I would like to see a demo page on which various layouts are combined, e.g. top content block full width, second block with two columns 2:1 width, third block with full width again, etc. I would accept the answer that the start page demonstrates such layout already and that other regular pages can be laid out by editors.
